Our story

APLAN was founded in 2017 in Belo Horizonte by a group of engineers with extensive experience in heavy process automation. Since then we have expanded operations to serve clients across 12 countries, with our main office in Savassi and a team of 50+ specialized professionals.

What APLAN delivers on the production line

End-to-end execution with multidisciplinary teams — engineering, manufacturing, programming and assisted operation.

Concept, basic and detailed engineering

Process descriptions, P&ID flowsheets, instrument lists, equipment specifications, single-line diagrams, panel layouts and commissioning protocols.

In-house electrical panels

MCCs, PLC panels, command centers, I/O racks and field panels assembled to IEC 61439 and NBR standards. Documented FAT/SAT testing.

Multi-platform programming

Siemens (TIA Portal, Step 7), Rockwell (Studio 5000, FactoryTalk), ABB (System 800xA), plus Schneider, GE and WEG. SCADA, HMI, supervision and Level 2.

Commissioning and assisted startup

Teams mobilized for Brazil and abroad. Cold tests, energization, progressive startup, production ramp-up and support until operational stabilization.

Metallurgical processes

Domain knowledge on LF, VD/VOD, ESR, VAR and SAF furnaces, and on refining, granulation, milling and flotation processes. Proprietary thermodynamic models.

Long-term maintenance

24/7 contracts with remote support, scheduled on-site visits and SLAs by criticality. Customization hour bank and obsolescence mitigation.

Proximity to clients in Minas Gerais (Brazil's largest iron-ore producing state) enables short response times and frequent technical visits. We serve clients nationwide and mobilize teams internationally for projects abroad.
